Best practices to the Central Election Commission ( CEC )

On the 13th and 14th of September, in the premises of the Central Election Commission (CEC), roundtables and meetings were organized by the Twinning Project against Corruption, financed by the EU. In these meetings, short-term expert Mr. Jaakko Eskola made a presentation of the Finnish model of online monitoring system of political party finances, as a best practice of transparency. Mr. Eskola is collaborating closely with the CEC staff to draft an internal regulation for the CEC on the ways to monitor expenses of political parties, that is applicable to our institutional and legal environment.
